Since the last time I've done this, I've written two books and helped design a robot. I will try to make this a weekly occurrence again, but right now I am just happy that I have a few minutes to recommend the following book.

I have been going to http://www.darwinawards.com for years now, getting a quick chuckle at well the expense of my fellow humans. Now, you too can look at all the greatest examples of how some people have volunteered to improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it.
I have to warn you, some people take great offense to these awards. I respect their opinion that instead of laughing at somebody's death, you should be saddened by their passing, but I find it hard to feel sympathy for people that have done such stupid things as crush out a cigarette in a bucket of dynamite or attempted to demonstrate the strenght of their 30th floor office window.
For the rest of us, the book is highly entertaining. What the people miss that are offended by the book is that when you read it, you will have a strong feeling of "there but for the grace of God, go I". The laughter that comes from this book is somewhat self-conscious as we all have had lapses where we could very easily have become a Darwin award winner in our own right.
